The HWOL Index remains at high levels despite the slight down trend of 4.9 percent from last year, however, The Conference Board release said the spread of the COVID-19 virus will “likely” cause a decline in job postings in the months to come.

The index stood at 101.4 in February, down from 102.7 in January. July 2018 is used as the baseline number of 100. The Index is down 4.9 percent from last year. The full details of the index and more information on the Data Series are available in The Conference Board press release.
