Multi-Lingual Support
Burning Glass developed our advanced parsing and matching technology to be language independent at its core. Rather than relying on text translation tools, our artificial intelligence-based technology is taught using raw documents in each new language/geography combination. The system thus acquires an understanding not only of the unique language structure in documents but also the formatting standards unique to a geography – which is what makes resumes from different countries distinctive and unique, even when they are written in the same language. The result is a consistently high standard of parsing accuracy across all models and geographies served. In addition to the initial learning process, our technology continues to learn from the documents it parses, providing increasing accuracy over time.
Our technology is also unique in its ability to process languages that require multi-byte encoding (e.g. Chinese, Japanese, Russian, various European language characters etc.).
The language independent architecture of our technology enables us to add easily additional language/geography models upon request.
