• Extracts descriptive data including detailed personal information, work experience, skills and competencies, education, and other qualifications and enters it into the database
• Adds relevant information and coding (e.g. lat/lon, industry code, skill context, degree levels, etc.)
• Produces a resume document reformatted for client presentation (e.g. by removing the candidate’s identifying information and adding your logo, etc.) or for expedited internal review

Burning Glass has developed patented technology for resume data extraction leveraging a field of artificial intelligence known as Statistical Natural Language Processing (SNLP). Rather than looking for information in specific sequences or formats, the system uses context to categorize information based on what it describes, evaluating each word independently based on meaning and context.
